On Monday, December 2, 2013, the 6th night of Chanukah, fifty members of Cote S. Luc’s CTeen chapter lit up the lives of others and had what Matthew Westernoff described as “best night in my life!” They met up at a local senior home called Castel Royal, where they lit the channukiah and sang Chanukah songs with the seniors, following which they participated in the city’s Rally for Religious Freedom and giant channukiah lighting. Then, they split up into limos and participated in the citywide Chanukah parade while enjoying donuts and soft drinks. About 50 teens showed up.
